Untersuchungen mit dem Varicellen-Herpes zoster-Virus

Zusammenfassung

Berichtet wird über die gelungene Züchtung von zwei weiteren Herpes zoster-Stämmen, sowie einem Varicellen-Stamm in der Gewebekultur auf Meerschweinchen-Embryonalzellen. Die Spezifität der gezüchteten Viren wurde histologisch, sowie serologisch mit dem Neutralisationstest und der Komplementbindungsreaktion, unter Verwendung von menschlichen Rekonvaleszentenseren, bewiesen. Außerdem gelang es, das Herpes zoster- und Varicellen-Virus durch Verimpfung des zellfreien Kulturlysates weiter zu passieren.
