Summary
A procedure is proposed for the determination of low concentrations of ammonia in air by the indophenol reaction with sodium phenolate and sodium hypochlorite. The limit of detection (1 μg NH3) and the precision are equal to the Neßler reaction, but there is no interference by hydrogen sulphide.
Zusammenfassung
Es wird eine Arbeitsweise zur Bestimmung von geringen Ammoniak-Konzentrationen in Luft auf Grund der Indophenolreaktion mit Natriumphenolat und Natriumhypochlorit angegeben. Sie entspricht hinsichtlich Nachweisgrenze (ab 1μg NH3 in 25 ml Absorptionslösung) und Reproduzierbarkeit der Neßler-Reaktion, hat aber den Vorteil, durch Schwefelwasserstoff nicht gestört zu werden.
