Effects of some phlogistics on the capillary resistance of the rabbit conjunctiva

Summary

Applying certain phlogistics (10% ol. sinapis, tinct. capsici, Dionin) and 1.5% histamine solution to the conjunctival sac of rabbits led to a mathematically significant decrease in conjunctival capillary resistance in every experimental animal. The effect occurred 20 to 30 min after application of the various pharmacons.

Zusammenfassung

Nach Untersuchungen an Kaninchen setzen einige in den Konjunktivalsack geträufelte reizende Agentien (10% Ol. sinapis, Tinct. capsici, Dionin) sowie 1,5% Histaminlösung die Kapillarresistenz der Bindehaut bei Versuchstieren statistisch signifikant herab. Die Wirkung tritt 20–30 min nach der Applikation der verschiedenen Pharmaka ein.
