Summary
A method is described for simultaneous determination of a drug and its metabolites in blood and bile of rats with intact enterohepatic circulation. The comparison with the respective data obtained in biliary fistula animals allows a statement on enterohepatic circulation of the drug, if the bile flow is identical in both groups.
