Summary
The recovery rates of 2,4-D, MCPA and 2,4,5-T in three different soils were determined. The concentration ranges were 5–0.5 ppm and 10–2.5 ppb. The analysis was carried out by means of HPLC. In the lower concentration range an on-line enrichment was used, accompanied by an increase of the detection sensitivity for a hundred times. The determination was carried out by UV-detection at the absorption maximum of phenoxy acids at 230 nm. The recovery rates range from 68% to 92% for 2,4-D, 72% to 89% for MCPA and 60% to 83% for 2,4,5-T.
