Photoacoustic-spectroscopic investigation of dye layers

Summary

PA spectra of 6 blue water colours on aquarelle paper were measured; these samples, almost similar to the human eye, can clearly be distinguished by PA-spectroscopy. The potential of PA-spectroscopy to analyse depth profiles in multilayer samples by varying the chopping-frequency is demonstrated in a study of photographie colour paper.

Zusammenfassung

Die PA-Spektren von 6 blauen Aquarellfarben wurden gemessen. Die für das Auge nahezu gleichgefärbten Proben lassen sich an Hand ihrer PA-Spektren deutlich voneinander unterscheiden. An einem Color-Umkehrpapier wird die Möglichkeit der PA-Spektroskopie aufgezeigt, Tiefenprofile bei Mehrfachschichten zu analysieren, was in Zukunft auch für technische Anwendungen von Interesse sein könnte.
