Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

Reduction of 5, 6-dihydro-4H-pyrazino[1, 2, 3-lm]carbazole alkiodides with sodium in alcohol affords 3a, 4, 5, 6-tetrahydro-3H-pyrazino[1, 2, 3-lm]carbazoles, which are heterocyclic enamines. Some reactions of these compounds are examined.
