Summary

An ATR technique is presented for UV/VIS analytical measurements featuring a solid glass ATR probe which is connected to a fast diode array spectrometer via optical fibers. It is demonstrated that samples with very high absorption, which are of some practical interest in process and quality control in chemistry and pharmacy, can be directly investigated with an overall reproducibility of 0.1% in concentration.
