Abstract

The present paper presents the spatial distribution and monthly variations of Pb, Hg, PO4, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), and total organic carbon (TOC) collected from ten different sites along the Kuwait Waterfront Project during construction from October 1984 to September 1985. The data suggest that concentrations of the pollutants were not affected by the Waterfront Project construction, but were mainly related to activities on or near the Kuwait shore prior to construction.
