Zusammenfassung

    Im Vorangehenden wurde über eines der “jüngsten” Gewächse der Onkologie — das 1942 von Stout u. Murray erstmals beschriebene Hämangiopericytom — berichtet.

    Bei dem veröffentlichten Fall handelt es sich um den 69. ausführlicher dargestellten des Weltschrifttums. Er stellt zugleich den zehnten der dermatologischen Literatur und den ersten eingehender beschriebenen des außer-nordamerikanischen Gewächsschrifttums dar.

    Im Hinblick auf seine bevorzugte cutan-subcutane Lokalisation beansprucht das Hämangiopericytom ein besonderes dermatologisches Interesse. Angesichts der darüber hinaus gehenden Gebundenheit an alle sogenannten “Weichen Gewebe” (“Soft Tissues”) und schließlich an das körperweite Element der Blutcapillaren ist der beschriebene Tumor des Interesses aller Fachgebiete der Medizin sicher.
