Synthesis of thiazolines and thiazolidines

Abstract

Primary α-ethynylamines form thiazolines with isothiocyanates, while secondary α-ethynylamines give thiazolidines. Data on the IR, PMR, and UV spectra of the compounds obtained are presented.
