Abstract

The conformation of the macrocyclic skeleton of 1,8,9,20-tetrahydro-3,6,9-trimethyl-1,8-diphenyldibenzo[c,m]dipyrazolo[3,4-f:4′,3′-j][1,2,5,8,9,12]-hexaazacyclotetradecene was determined by means of the 13C NMR spectra with respect to the known conformations of the macrocyclic skeleton in isomeric Ni(II) complexes of 1,8,9,20-tetrahydro-3,6-dimethyl-1,8-diphenyldibenzo[c,m] dipyrazolo[3,4-f:4′,3′-j][1,2,5,8,9,12]hexaazacyclotetradecene.
