Abstract
2-Chloro-4-(o-carboxyphenylamino)pyrimidines were synthesized by reaction of 2,4-dichloro-pyrimidines with anthranilic acid in aqueous media in the presence of hydrochloric acid. A number of their derivatives-2-hydroxy-, 2-methoxy-, and 2-amino-4-(o-carboxyphenyl-amino)pyrimidines -were obtained.
