Abstract

Spectral data and pK a values found for a number of 3-(carboxypolymethylene)sydnones made it possible to establish the mutual effect of a heterocyclic ring and a carboxyl group in these compounds and to confirm the high electron-acceptor character of a 3-sydnonyl substituent.
