Abstract
A strain of Byssochlamys nivea, isolated from altered heat processed strawberries, produces an antibiotic substance which is efficient against several species of gram (-) bacteria and a few species of gram (+).
This substance is completely ineffectual on Mycobacteria and fungi (yeasts or moulds) at the concentration used.
