Zusammenfassung
Liposarkome sind im Kopf-Hals-Bereich selten. Es werden zwei Patienten beschrieben und 52 Fälle aus der Literatur berücksichtigt. Der histologische Differenzierungstyp bestimmt im wesentlichen die Prognose. In erster Linie besteht die Behandlung in radikalem chirurgischem Vorgehen, aber auch postoperative Bestrahlung wird empfohlen. Erfahrungen mit der Chemotherapie sind begrenzt.
Summary
Liposarcomas of the head and neck are rare. Two patients are described and 52 cases from the literature reviewed. The histological type of differentiation mainly determines the prognosis. Radical surgery is the form of treatment advised, but postoperative irradiation is also recommended. Experiences with chemotherapy are limited so far.
