Summary

A patient is reported with recurrent massive epistaxis subsequent to a traumatic infraclinoidal aneurysm of the internal carotid artery 11.5 years after trauma. The disease is presented in the form of a case report, and the possibilities for treatment are presented and discussed.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird berichtet über einen Patienten mit rezidivierender massiver Epistaxis als Folge eines traumatischen infraklinoidalen Carotisaneurysmas 11,5 Jahre nach dem Trauma. Das Krankheitsbild wird in Form eines Fallberichtes dargestellt sowie die verschiedenen Therapiemöglichkeiten aufgezeigt und diskutiert.
