Summary
A study of the migration sequences of ferric, aluminium and beryllium ions, separation of beryllium from aluminium and ferric ion from Al, Ag, Pb, Hg, Cu, Cd, Bi, Zn, Co and Ni in different electrolytes have been made. Ferric ions from different binary, ternary and quaternary mixtures have been successfully separated and four cations from a mixture Fe-Zn-Co-Ni can be easily identified. Their complete separation is not possible under the conditions studied.
