Abstract
The syndrome of stapes fixation and proximal symphalangism has been described in a 7-year-old female. Her mother had similar bony alterations but was not deaf.

Beschreibung des Syndroms der Stapes-Fixierung und proximalen Symphalangie bei einem 7jährigen Mädchen. Die Mutter des Kindes bot ähnliche Knochenveränderungen, war aber nicht taub.
