Zusammenfassung

Werte und Titrationskurven werden angegeben für die Standardisierung von Perchlorsäure in Eisessig und von Tetrabutylammonium-hydroxid mit Hilfe von Antipyrinperchlorat. Im Falle des basischen Titranten ergibt sich nur in dem stark basischen Lösungsmittel 1,1,3,3-Tetramethylguanidin ein einzelner Potentialsprung. In Methanol, Pyridin, Acetonitril, N,N-Di-methylformamid und Dimethylsulfoxid treten zwei Sprünge auf, von denen nur der zweite analytisch bedeutsam ist und einer monobasischen Säure entspricht.

Summary

Titration curves and data are presented for the standardization of perchloric acid in glacial acetic acid and for tetrabutylammonium hydroxide solutions vs. antipyrine perchlorate. In the standardization of the basic titrant this compound yields a single potentiometric break only in the highly basic solvent 1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine. In methanol, pyridine, acetonitrile, N,N-dimethylformamide, and dimethylsulfoxide two breaks are obtained. Only the second break is analytically useful and corresponds to a monobasic acid.
