Summary
The influence on the determination of rhodium is only slight. In comparison with the elements Pt and Pd the measurements are most exact in the absence of foreign ions. Addition of uranium or lanthanum as spectroscopic buffers causes an increase in sensitivity. The interfering effects of palladium and platinum cannot be eliminated by correcting equations. However, with the addition of uranium as a buffer the effects are minimized and the remaining influence can be corrected by means of equations.
