Summary
-
1.
Klebsiella oxytoca excretes indole when growing in not aerated cultures with gluconate (or glucose) as the only carbon source.
-
2.
Threonine stimulates and serine decreases the formation of indole.
-
3.
In aerated cultures no excretion of indole could be found.
-
4.
Indole in the culture medium is utilized in aerated cultures.
Zusammenfassung
-
1.
-
4.
Zugesetztes Indol wird von belüfteten Kulturen verbraucht.
