Zusammenfassung

Fünfwertiges Arsen wird als MgNH4AsO4 gefällt und überschüssiges Magnesium durch Atomabsorptionsspektroskopie bei 285,2 nm bestimmt. Dreiwertiges Arsen wird zuvor oxydiert. Organische Arsenverbindungen werden mit Hilfe von HNO3/H2O2 und anschließende Behandlung mit HClO4 aufgeschlossen. Die Ergebnisse sind auf ±0,3% genau. F, Cl, Br, J, NO3 und SO4 2− stören nicht. PO4 3− wird mitgefällt.

Summary

Penta-valent arsenic compounds are determined by precipitation with magnesia mixture as MgNH4AsO4. The excess magnesium is measured at 285.2 nm by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Tri-valent arsenic compounds are similarly determined after oxidation to arsenate. Organic arsenic compounds are decomposed by wet oxidation, with nitric acid-hydrogen peroxide mixture followed by perchloric acid, before treatment with excess magnesium. Results accurate to ±0.3% are obtained and no interferences are caused by F, Cl, Br, I, NO3 , and SO4 2−, but phosphates interfered seriously.
