Die Naevi der Carunkel und ihre Beziehung zu den Bindehautnaevi

Zusammenfassung

An 22 Naevi naevocelluares der Carunkel wird die Histogenese der sie obligat begleitenden Wucherungen des Deckepithels zu Strängen, Drüsen und Cysten dargelegt. Diese sind nicht Abkömmlinge des Naevusgewebes selbst, sondern Folge einer Induktion durch den Naevus, die auch zur Metaplasie des Epithels in Carunkelhaarbälgen führen kann.

Die Befunde an Carunkelnaevi werden mit denen von 76 Naevi der Conjunctiva bulbi verglichen und Korrelationen zwischen dem Alter des Patienten, dem Stadium der Naevusentwicklung und der Ausbildung epithelialer Wucherungen aufgezeigt. Diese Befunde lassen es als möglich erscheinen, daß generell Naevusgewebe durch Induktion die Segregationsprozesse am überliegenden. Deckepithel beeinflussen könnte.

Summary

By reference to 22 caruncular nevi, a description is given of the histogenesis of the tegumentary epithelial proliferations, which invariably accompany such nevi and which result in the formation of strands, glands and cysts. These are not derived from the tissue of the nevus itself, but are due to induction by the nevus, which may also lead to epithelial metaplasia in the caruncular hair follicles.

The findings obtained in these cases of caruncular nevus are compared with those in 76 nevi of the conjunctiva bulbi and correlations astablished between the age of the patient, the stage of development reached by the nevus, and the degree of epithelial proliferation. These findings make it seem possible, that the nevus tissue generally could by induction influence the segregation-processes on the above laying tegumentary epithelium.
