Über Atrophia gyrata centralis chorioideae sed non retinae

Zusammenfassung

Bei der Atrophia gyrata centralis chorioideae ist die Aderhaut um Papille und Macula atrophisch; das atrophische Areal ist lacunär begrenzt und in beiden Augen annähernd symmetrisch. Vermutlich gibt es bei jeweils gleichem morphologischem Befund je nach der Schwere der Funktionsausfälle verschiedene Formen der Atrophia gyrata centralis chorioideae.

Die zentrale Atrophia gyrata muß von einer abgelaufenen zentralen Chorioretinitis sowie von einer zentralen eichenblattförmigen Chorioidalsklerose abgegrenzt werden.

Summary

In atrophia gyrata centralis chorioideae the chorioid around the optic disc and the macula is atrophic; the demarcation of the atrophic region is loculated and approximatively symmetric in both eyes. It is supposed that depending on the gravity of the functional loss there exist different forms of disease with similar morphological findings.

Atrophia gyrata centralis has to be differentiated from a passed central chorioretinitis and from a central oakleaf-shaped chorioidal sclerosis.
