Summary

72 cases of supracondylar fractures in children treated by a modification of Blount's method were evaluated. An excellent result was found in these cases. This method should be done exactly as described. The advantages of this method have also been discussed.

Zusammenfassung

An Hand der Nachuntersuchungen von 72 Patienten konnte gezeigt werden, daß die Behandlung der suprakondylären Humerusfrakturen im Kindesalter nach modifizerter Methode von Blount sehr gute Resultate bringt. Es muß jedoch streng nach den beschriebenen Schemata vorgegangen werden. Die Vorzüge dieser Behandlungsmethode wurden ebenfalls besprochen.
