Über die Mortonsche Metatarsalgie

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über die Erfahrungen an 11 Fällen von Mortonscher Metatarsalgie berichtet. Von 8 Patienten liegen histologische Befunde vor.

Die M. M. ist eine gut abgrenzbare klinische Einheit und bei Kenntnis der Symptomatik leicht zu diagnostizieren.

Das anatomische Substrat besteht in einer neuromartigen Verdickung des N. Digitalis communis an seiner Gabelungsstelle im 2. oder 3. Intermetatarsalraum.

Durch die operative Entfernung des Knotens ist völlige Beschwerdefreiheit zu erreichen.

Die Ansicht von Nissen, daß Gefäßveränderungen die Ursache seien, konnte nicht bestätigt werden.

Summary

Report about experiences in 11 cases of Morton's Metatarsalgia. From 8 patients were histological findings available.

Morton's Metatarsalgia is an well defined clinical entity and if symptomatology is known easy in diagnosis.

Anatomically it is a thickening of the common digital nerve where it divides between the second and third metatarsal head and seems like a neuroma.

After removal of the neuroma patients are free from pains.

The explaining of Nissen who found changes of vessels as the causative faktor was not confirmed.

Résumé

On établit un rapport sur 11 cas de Morton métatarsalgie. On dispose de certificats histologiques de 8 malades. La maladie est un cas clinique aisément déterminable et en connaissant les symptômes facile à diagnostiquer. Le substrat anatomique consiste en un épaississement d'un genre de neuron du nerf au point ou il fourche au deuxième ou troisième space intermetatarsale.

Par l'enlèvement opératif du noend on peut obtenir un état dispensé de tout malaise.

L'opinion du Professeur Nissen selon laquelle des modifications de vaisseau pourraient en être la cause ne peut être confirmée.
