Summary

In this work 2 deformities are reported, these are caused by trauma in childhood.

1. The Genu recurvatum or Back knee, this defect is produced due to injury of proximal tibia epiphysis.

2. The Genu valgum or Knock knee, this defect is produced due to proximal tibia fracture in children.

The Genu recurvatum will be treated through osteotomy and errect fixing of tibial head. The Genu valgum that is the exalt of stimulation and overgrowth of tibial head at one side, could be treated with Blount Epiphysiodesis at the age of 8 years. This treatment gives good results.

Zusammenfassung

In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird über 2 Deformitäten nach kindlichen Verletzungen berichtet.

1. Das Genu recurvatum, das durch Schädigung der proximalen Tibiaapophyse entsteht.

2. Die X-Beinfehlstellung nach proximalen Schienbeinfrakturen von Kindern.

Das Genu recurvatum wird durch Aufrichtungsosteotomie des Schienbeinkopfes korrigiert. Die resultierende X-Beinfehlstellung ist die Folge einer Stimulierung der Tibiaepiphyse und bedarf der Überwachung. Erst die Blountsche Epiphyseodese im Alter von 8 Jahren bringt gute Ergebnisse.
