Zum Problem der ophthalmometrischen Bestimmung der Hornhautbrechkraft

Zusammenfassung

An Hand von Kurven wird der Einfluß gezeigt, den jeder Krümmungsradius für sich auf die Gesamtbrechkraft der Hornhaut ausübt. Die Änderung des vorderen Hornhautradius bei konstantem Radius der Hinterfläche ergibt nicht zu vernachlässigende Abweichungen von der Eichvorschrift für Ophthalmometer.

Bei Verformungen der Hornhaut von der Art, daß die Krümmungsradien der Vorder- und Hinterfläche zueinander proportional sind, stimmt die Gesamtbrechkraft sehr gut mit der Ophthalmometer-Eichkurve überein. Jedoch ergeben sich an den Enden des Meßbereiches merkliche Abweichungen, die durch ein Korrektionsglied angegeben werden.

The influence of each single radius for itself on the total refraction of the cornea will be demonstrated in graphical curves.

If the corneal-front-radius changes, while the back-corneal-radius is constant, there will result a deviation in Keratometer-reading-calibration which cannot be neglected.

In case of proportional deviation of the cornea in front and back radius the total refraction will correspond excellent to the curve of Keratometer-reading-calibration.

However at the ends of the measuring sphere are shown noticeable deviations. They will be considered in a special correction term.
