I have described the indications of the treatment of bony fractures from our point of view. May I repeat again: Every good conservative treatment is of more value, than a bad osteosynthesis. Unsufficient reduction and unsufficient immobilization are mostly to find in failures of conservative treatment. Thies treatment needs carefulness and patience. Broken asepsis chaine, damage of the soft tissues, broken vascularisation of the bony tissue and biomechanic dysfunction are the most frequent causes of failures in operations of bony fractures.

Ich habe Ihnen unsere Indikationen für die Frakturbehandlung dargestellt. Ich möchte nochmals betonen: Jede gute konservative Behandlung ist einer schlechten Osteosynthese überlegen. Unzureichende Reposition und mangelhafte Ruhigstellung sind am häufigsten bei Versagen konservativer Maßnahmen zu finden. Diese Behandlung erfordert Sorgfalt und Geduld. Mangelhafte Asepsis, Traumatisierung der Weichteile, zu ausgiebige Devascularisierung des Knochens und biomechanische Fehlleistungen sind die häufigsten Ursachen der Mißerfolge nach Operationen am Knochen.
