Zusammenfassung

Gekreuzte Bohrdrähte sind eine einfache, billige und wirksame Art der Osteosynthese. Ein breites subperiostales Freilegen der Bruchstücke ist nicht notwendig, daher wird die Blutversorgung der Bruchstücke nicht gefährdet. Die Drähte können auch percutan eingeführt werden. Sie lassen sich mit gutem Erfolg bei fast allen Indikationen zur Osteosynthese im spongiösen Knochen verwenden, während sie für die Osteosynthese in der Compacta nur begrenzt Anwendung finden können.
