Summary
Since 1970 43 total knee arthroplasties were performed and the results of 34 operations reviewed. The average follow-up period was 2.4 years with a minimum of 6 months. We used 2 McIntosh, 8 Sledge, 9 Shiers, 8 Guepar, 3 Geomedic, 4 GSB prosthesis. The clinical results were very good in 56.2%. The failure and the high rate of loosening of the Shiers-Joint are stressed.
Zusammenfassung
Seit 1970 wurden 43 Kniealloarthroplastiken durchgeführt, wovon 34 nachuntersucht wurden. Die durchschnittliche Beobachtungszeit beträgt 2,4 Jahre bei einem Minimum von 6 Monaten. Verwendete Prothesen: 2 McIntosh, 8 Hamburger Schlitten, 9 Shiers, 8 Guepar, 3 Geomedic, 4 GSB-Gelenke. Die Shiers-Prothese zeigte die schlechtesten Ergebnisse, hat aber die längste Beobachtungszeit. Die den Prothesenmodellen anhaftenden Vor- und Nachteile werden diskutiert und Ergebnisse anderer Autoren zitiert.
