Zusammenfassung
Es ist auffällig, daß Frakturen nach langdauernder Cortisontherapie häufig Patienten mit einer primär-chronischen Polyarthritis betreffen, was durch die Addition der stets vorhandenen Inaktivitäts- und Steroidosteoporose erklärt werden kann. Zwei einschlägige Fälle mit Schenkelhalsfrakturen aus dem eigenen Krankengut werden mitgeteilt. Aus den Besonderheiten ihres Verlaufs wird der therapeutische Schluß gezogen, von vornherein zu versuchen, die größtmögliche operative Stabilität zu erreichen. Für die Prophylaxe der Steroidosteopathie scheint neben den alimentären und medikamentösen Faktoren die frühzeitige, individuell angepaßte krankengymnastische Behandlung von hervorragender Wichtigkeit.
