Summary
During the treatment of spondylitis tuberculosa, unspecific complications may very frequently occur, that require serious therapeutic measures. The treatment of these complications is important because they prolong the treatment period for the spondylitis and may sometimes have lethal results. It is, therefore, necessary for the attending doctor to know that the new tuberculostatics are not harmless and are partially responsible for the arising complications.
