Ophthalmodynamographie unter Muskelrelaxantien

Summary

D-Tubocurarin as well as Succinyl-bis-cholin are able to influence the ophthalmodynamogram of the anaesthesized patient by relaxation of the striatet eye muscles. With application of each drug the systolic and the diastolic opthalmic blood pressure decreases in relation to the upper arm pressure, during the time of their optimal efficiency. This has been a repeated confirmation of the fact, that with humans the state of tension of the striated eye muscles is partly responsible for the haemodynamically inexplicable ophthalmobrachial difference of the normotonics.

Zusammenfassung

Sowohl D-Tubocurarin als auch Succinyl-bis-cholin vermögen durch Relaxation der quergestreiften Augenmuskulatur das Ophthalmodynamogramm des narkotisierten Patienten zu beeinflussen. Unter beiden Medikamenten sinkt z.Z. ihres Wirkungsoptimums der systolische und diastolische Ophthalmicablutdruck im Verhältnis zum Oberarmblutdruck ab. Damit hat sich beim Menschen erneut bestätigen lassen, daß für die hämodynamisch unerklärbare ophthalmobrachiale Differenz der Normotoniker der Spannungszustand der quergestreiften Orbitamuskulatur mitverantwortlich ist.
