Summary
A method is described which permits the measurement of velocity vectors in a three-dimensional flow field. This method, which is especially useful for the study of water models, uses colour as an indication of the third dimension, thus enabling complete determination of direction and magnitude of the velocity by means of a single colour-photograph.
