Summary
279 electroculograms (12 minutes in the dark and 10 minutes in the bright) of eye-healthy subjects were evaluated (mean, standard error of mean; differences were t-tested, significances given by P-values): The mean electrooculogram is higher in femal than in male subjects. Also it is higher in 17–18 aged than in 26 aged subjects.
The evaluation of correlations between the starting value of the electrooculogram, the dark through, the light peak, the dark descent, the light ascent from 559 electrooculograms let conclude: Absolute values are best for the characterization of the electrooculogram.
