Das Papillenbild der Retinopathia diabetica

Zusammenfassung

An 3 Gruppen, insgesamt 100 Fällen, wird das Papillenbild der diabetischen Retinopathie demonstriert. Papillenödem, ungewöhnliche Papillenhyperämie und Papillenabblassung sind schon bei „Einfacher Retinopathie“ relativ häufige, jedoch gutartige Vorkommnisse. Weit stärker hervor tritt das Papillenödem bei „Proliferativer Retinopathie“ und sonstiger maligner diabetischer Angiopathie (Nephropathie etc.). Die absolute Abhängigkeit des Papillenödems von der Nephropathie bzw. Hypertonie, so wie bisher postuliert, ließ sich nicht erweisen. Vielmehr sind die Gründe vielgestaltig, offenbar alle im Gesamtplan der diabetischen Angiopathie begründet.

Summary

Three groups of diabetics with retinopathy form the basis of investigations concerning especially the optic nerve-disk. There are different changes, mainly papilledema, which is far more expressed in malign “Proliferating retinopathy” and nephropathy than in so-called “Simple retinopathy” and benign angiopathy. Yet the papilledema ist not absolutely dependent on the nephropathy, as suppased up to now. There are different causes, all obviously deposited in the general plan of the entire diabetic angiopathy.
