Zusammenfassung
-
1.
-
A.
Das Enzym ist ständig im Mycel vorhanden,
-
B.
Summary
-
1.
In respect to tyrosinase formation wood-rotting fungi may be divided into three types:
-
A.
the enzyme is always present in the mycelium,
-
B.
the enzyme occurs only in juvenile mycelia, often only in the growing zone,
-
C.
the enzyme is mainly built by ageing mycelia and can be induced in young mycelia by metabolic inhibitors.
-
2.
Tyrosin and phenolic substrates do not induce tyrosinase formation in Fomes marginatus.
-
3.
An enzyme induction may be obtained by application of metabolic inhibitors which uncouple oxidative phosphorylation or disturb in other way ATP formation.
-
4.
Therefore a tyrosinase induction may occur at a preponderance of decomposing processes, if the synthetic potential functions are not wholly disturbed.
-
5.
For explanation of this phenomenon a metabolic repression of enzyme formation in young mycelia is assumed, which is abolished by the effect of the toxins.
