Summary

The analysis of the different components of the metamorphoma gives information about the function still present in the macula. This statement stands the test for the prognosis regarding the success of therapeutical measures.

Zusammenfassung

Die Analyse der einzelnen Komponenten des metamorphoptischen Bildes gibt Aufschluß über die noch vorhandene Restfunktion der Macula. Diese Aussage hat sich als Prognose für den Erfolg therapeutischer Maßnahmen bewährt.
