Summary
The double-layered porous sheath of the eosinophile granules is rich in phospholipoproteins containing unsaturated fatty acids. The osmotically labile externum contains a small amount of insoluble material and much basic protein. The properties of the latter change according to the type of fixation and addition of precipitating substances, such as phosphotungstic or phosphomolybdic acids, during the embedding process. The lamellated internum is relatively resistant and, in addition to unknown substances, consists of considerable amounts of phospholipids containing unsaturated fatty acids. Glycogen appears in the form of fine single or clustered cytoplasmic inclusions interspersed among the eosinophile granules.
Zusammenfassung
-
1.
