Dirac strig for the Ward-Prasad 2-monopole solution

Abstract

The gauge potential for the 2-monopole solution is shown to have an infinite line of singularity running from −∞ to +∞ in any fixed direction in the unitary gauge. The string structures for higher monopole solutions in this gauge are also speculated.
