Zusammenfassung
In Versuchen an akut vergifteten Ratten wurde der Übertritt von Blei aus der Blutbahn in das Darmlumen quantitativ bestimmt. Wir erhielten folgende Resultate.:

Bei Kontrolltieren stellten wir in sämtlichen untersuchten, voneinander abgetrennten Darmabschnitten — Magen, Duodenum, Jejunum; Ileum, Coecum und Colon — eine enterale Bleiausscheidung fest.

Eine Ganzkörperbestrahlung mit 800 r rief eine signifikant erhöhte Ausscheidung von Blei in das Duodenum hervor.

Nach Instillation eines Proteasenhemmers in das Lumen des Duodenums wurde ebenfalls ein signifikant erhöhter Bleigehalt im Duodenalinhalt gemessen.

Die Unterbrechung des Gallenabflusses in das Duodenum bewirkte keine Verminderung der duodenalen Bleiausscheidung.
Unabhängig vom Gallenfluß gelang es somit, durch Erzeugen einer gesteigerten intestinalen EiweiBausscheidung (strahleninduzierte exsudative Enteropathie) oder durch Blockierung des intraintestinalen Eiweißabbaues eine Erhöhung der Bleiausscheidung in das Duodenum zu erzielen. Die Befunde führen zu folgenndr Arbeitshypothese : ein Teil des Blutbleis wird durch Trägereiweiße — vorderhand noch nicht identifizierter Fraktionen — transportiert und unterliegt damit dem plasmoenteralen Kreislauf der Serumproteine. Die sich daraus ergebenden Konsequenzen für den Mechanismus der Bleivergiftung und ihrer Therapie werden gestreift.
