Summary
The findings in roentgenological studies of children with subdural hygroma are described and discussed. Although valuable information is obtained from both skull studies and angiography, it is the authors' experience that encephalography is the method of choice. It gives information on the presence, localization and extension of a hygroma, and on the not uncommon simultaneous occurrence of hydrocephalus, atrophy or arachnoiditis.
