Abstract
Chromatographic detection of particles with 0.05 to 10.0 μm in diameter by using a capillary tube is reported. Retention times of particles depended on their diameter. Complete peak separation was observed in the chromatogram of a mixture of particles with 0.05 and 10.0 μm in diameter. The application of this technique as detecting method for contaminants in a bioreactor is considered.
