  • Published:
Planta Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The nucleic acid contents of styles with stigmas of Petunia hybrida have been estimated before and after pollination using a NaCl extraction procedure. No net changes in the amounts of nucleic acids are observed during pollen tube growth towards the ovary.
