Untersuchungen zur Empfindlichkeit der Alveolarepithelzellen in der Mäuselunge gegen cancerogene Stoffe (Methylcholanthren)

Zusammenfassung

  1. 1.

    Die Alveolarepithelzellen der Mäuselunge zeigen eine hohe Empfindlichkeit gegen cancerogene Stoffe: bei einem nicht durch spontane Lungentumoren belasteten Mäusestamm werden durch Implantate aus Agar mit kristallinem Methylcholanthren unter der Rückenhaut Alveolarzelltumoren erzeugt. Die ersten Lungenveränderungen sind nach 15 Tagen festzustellen.

  2. 2.

    Zum gleichen Zeitpunkt kommt es in den Lungen zu einer beginnenden Hypertrophie der Wandzellen kleiner Gefäße. Später sind Media und Intima kleiner Arterien durch vergrößerte und vermehrte Zellen sowie Neuproduktion kollagener und elastischer Fasern stark verdickt.

  3. 3.

    Am Ort des Implantates in und unter der Haut bilden sich nach 80 Tagen und später Ulzerationen mit präcancerösen Epithelien und maligne Geschwülste des Bindegewebes, der Muskulatur und der Mamma.
