Abstract
This paper deals with the study of the flow of an electrically conducting but perfect, compressible fluid.
Starting from the general representation of the velocity and magnetic fields, one obtains the system of lagrangian invariants corresponding to the magnetohydrodynamic equations; this system describes the evolution of certain caracteristic scalar fields along the fluid trajectories of the magnetohydrodynamic flow.
Lastly, the system of first integrals corresponding to the case of stationary magnetohydrodynamic flow, with aligned magnetic field is derived.
