Summary
The experience gathered in a preceeding article, in which questions relating to the interpretation of quantity equations were elucidated by means of a simple example, is applied to some of the equations occurring in the field of electromagnetism, especially as regards rationalization.
In a preceeding paper1) (to be quoted as I) we have given a personal view regarding quantity equations and their interpretation. In the present article we shall make an attempt at applying these considerations to some of the equations occurring in the field of electromagnetism, especially as regards the rationalization of those equations by which the quantitiesH, D and Ψ are introduced or defined. To make comparison easy, the results obtained in I will be repeated in a condensed form, as far as necessary.
