A note on three-dimensional boundary layer growth

  • Published:
Applied Scientific Research, Section A Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

This note is an extension of the work of Görtler2) on two-dimensional boundary layer growth to the three-dimensional case. The solutions of three-dimensional boundary layer equations are obtained by considering the potential flow of the body to be governed by the functions At α U 0(ξ, η) and At α U 0(ξ, η) where α is any positive number.
